The Audison AP 1P is a premium component tweeter engineered to deliver clean, detailed, and dynamic high frequencies with exceptional installation versatility. Designed for both OEM integration and custom audio builds, this tweeter combines advanced materials, powerful motor design, and Audison’s exclusive AIF (Any Install Faceplate) technology—making it one of the most installer-friendly tweeters in its class.
At its core, the AP 1P features a 29 mm Tetolon fibre dome, known for its smooth, natural sound character and excellent damping properties. This dome is driven by a 1-inch (25 mm) CCAW voice coil and a double neodymium magnet motor, ensuring fast transient response, extended high-frequency reproduction, and impressive efficiency even at higher listening levels.
With a sensitivity of 92 dB and an extended frequency response from 1.2 kHz up to 25 kHz, the AP 1P delivers articulate highs that blend seamlessly with midrange drivers. Power handling reaches up to 150 W peak, making it suitable for both factory-upgrade systems and amplified setups.
To ensure optimal performance and easy tuning, the tweeter is paired with the APCX P 2T crossover, featuring a 12 dB/oct high-pass filter at 2.5 kHz and a selectable tweeter level adjustment (0 / +3 dB) to fine-tune output according to vehicle acoustics and listener preference.
